The Surface desk addresses thermal comfort issues within a remote working context. It provides a localized heat source for individuals in a static position working from home. The heating surface of this desk utilizes infrared heating technology, which consumes less energy than a traditional heating system. It emits radiant heat similar to that of the sun: this heat passes through the glass walls of the desk and warms the user in a static position.3rd prize-winning project in the Cinna 2023 Competition.
